上端・右辺削りか、下端・左辺削り。「流（硫）黄（リュウオウ）」は、鉱物性の生薬で、硫黄（イオウ）のこと。『本草集注』玉石中品に「石流黄」、『本草和名』玉石中に「由乃阿加」、『医心方』に「石流黄○由乃阿和」、『和名抄』に「流黄○本草䟽云、石流黄焚石液也。和名由乃阿和俗云由王」とみえ、『延喜式』典薬寮に、相模・信濃・下野各国の年料雑薬としてみえる（５７相模年料雑薬条・６６信濃年料雑薬条・６８下野年料雑薬条）。内濠ＳＤ一四〇〇から、硫黄が出土している。『延喜式』典薬寮によると、左右馬寮に馬薬として年六升四合が支給されていた（２４馬寮雑薬条）。『同』左右馬寮に毎季「硫黄一升六合」を官に申して請受けよとみえ、その数量は一致している（３５馬薬条）。 |
