四周削り。「桃人（仁）（トウニン）」は、バラ科の落葉小高木桃（トウ。和名モモ）または山桃（サントウ）の種子に比定される。『本草集注』果下品に「桃核」、『本草和名』果・『医心方』に「桃核○毛〻」、内閣文庫本『延喜式』典薬寮に「桃仁○モヽサネ」とみえ（３中宮臘月御薬条）、『延喜式』典薬寮に、山城など四十一箇国の年料雑薬としてみえる（４５山城年料雑薬条など）。藤原宮跡東面外濠ＳＤ一七〇（第二七次調査）から「桃人一升」と記した木簡が（『藤原宮木簡三』一一〇八）、藤原宮跡北辺地区から「桃子一二升」と記した木簡が出土している（奈良県『藤原宮』七七号）。 |
