| Notes on the Tablet |
上端･左右両辺削り､下端折れ｡切り込み部分に二条の紐の痕跡が白く残る｡｢嶋郡｣の二字は墨色が濃い｡志摩国は当初嶋郡一郡のみで､養老三年（七一九）四月に志摩郡を塔志郡と佐芸郡に分立したとみられる（『続日本紀』同月丙戌条）｡なお､佐芸郡はさらに天平年間頃までに､英虞郡に改称されたらしい｡ |
