上端折れまたは切断､下端折れ､左右両辺削り｡『令義解』によると､動物性油が膏､それ以外を油と称した（職員令主油司条）から､｢猪膏｣と｢油胡麻｣であろう｡『賦役令』によると､猪脂と胡麻油はともに調副物にみえ（調絹絁条）､これらの調の膏油は主油司が管理した｡ |
