木上は､高市皇子の殯宮が営まれた｢城上｣と同じ場所であろう｡その位置については広瀬郡城戸郷（北葛城郡広陵町）とする通説と､香久山に近い明日香村大字飛鳥字木部に比定する和田萃（｢殯の基礎的考察｣『史林』五二-五）説がある｡ |
