越綿･越中綿は正倉院文書にみえ（大日本古文書四-四六五､二五-三〇五）､また正倉院には越中国の綿に付けられた紙箋二点が残っている（松島順正｢正倉院古裂銘文集成｣『書陵部紀要』第三号）｡『延喜主計式』には越中国の調品目に白畳綿､白細屯綿が定められている｡ |
