左欠か｡｢北炬門｣以下の空白部分には西宮兵衛木簡から推して兵衛の名前が記されるべきものか｡｢北炬門｣は篝火を焚く西宮の北門の意｡従って九一の｢北炬兵衛｣は北門の夜間禁衛にあたる兵衛を意味する｡西宮兵衛木簡で南門や東門で炬を焚くことを示すものがないから､西宮では北門が夜間開いていた唯一の門になる｡令文は日没諸門を閉じたあとも｢不レ在二閇限一｣､｢至レ夜燃レ火｣す門を理門と称しているが（宮衛令）､｢臨時定二一便門人出入者一名云ニ理門一昼夜開検ニ人出入一｣（宮衛令集解開閉門条令釈）というものであった｡そして内門･中門･外門（宮城門）各々に理門がある（宮衛令集解理門条古記）｡北炬門は西宮の北門であるから内裏の内門の理門である｡ |
