木簡転用木製品｡下端削り｡上端･左右両辺は二次的削り｡上端は円錐形｡表面は二本の横線によって三段に区切られる｡各段の高さは現状でも八～九㎝とほぼ均等なので､上端の欠損部はそれほど多くなかろう｡原寸は一尺(約三〇㎝前後か｡書式の点で一六九号との共通性が高く､米の支出を記録した帳簿と考えられる｡表面中段の｢知達｣は､斉明四年(六五八)に入唐し､玄奘に師事して法相宗を学んだとされる智達であろう(伊藤敬太郎･竹内亮｢飛鳥池遺跡出土の寺名木簡について｣『南都仏教』七九､二〇〇〇年)｡｢口文｣｢弁智｣も僧名であろう｡裏面は下半部(表面からみれば上端側)に余白を残す｡ |
