上端･左右両辺削り､下端折れ｡上端は左右両角を削り落とす｡表面は『千字文』の題･勅撰文言･作者名｢千字文勅員外散騎侍郎周興嗣｣に関わるもので､九五二号にも類例がある｡また､藤原京跡からは｢勅｣｢散騎｣などの文字を繰り返し記した習書木簡が出土しており(『藤原木簡概報十七』一八八号)､平城宮跡出土木簡にも､『千字文』を題から書き始める例がある(『平城木簡概報二十四』三五頁下段､『同三十｣三八頁下段など)｡本来は一文字目の｢字｣の上に｢千｣字が記されていたとみられるが､現状では一文字分には高さが足りないので､上端は二次的整形の可能性もある｡ |
