左右二片接続｡四周削り｡表裏ともに｢穂積(皇子）と記す｡習書ではなく､物品管理に使用された名札の可能性がある｡｢穂積皇子｣は天武天皇の皇子｡穂積皇子宮の所在地は『万葉集』一一四～一一六番歌などから髙市皇子の｢香来山之宮｣近辺にあったとされ､橿原市教育委員会による香具山の北にあたる藤原京跡左京一･二条四･五坊の調査では､東四坊大路の東側溝から和銅二年(七〇九)銘の木簡とともに｢穂積親王宮｣や｢積親｣と書かれた木簡が出土している(『木簡研究二十六｣一五頁､一･二号)｡ |
