四周削り。「知夫利評由羅五十戸」は、『和名抄』の隠岐国知夫郡由良郷にあたる。二行目三文字目は「部」の可能性がある。四文字目は「乎」または「手」であろう。樹種はスギで、長さに比して幅が広い形態や表面のみに二行書きするという書式など、隠岐国の荷札木簡の特徴を備えている。評・五十戸の表記から七世紀後半と判断できるが、先行西二坊坊間路東側溝から出土した点や、伴出土器の年代観からも矛盾しない。 |
